Owner
Marc Liebman
Marc brings more than 20 years of experience in residential and commercial renovation. A Marblehead native, he previously owned and operated a successful full-service general contracting and carpentry company that served the North Shore for over a decade.
In 2018, Marc founded Benchmark Kitchen & Bath with a vision of combining exceptional design, quality cabinetry, and expert construction knowledge under one roof. Today, he continues to draw on his extensive renovation experience to ensure that every Benchmark project—whether a simple cabinetry update or a full-scale remodel—is planned and executed with meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship.
As a licensed Construction Supervisor and Home Improvement Contractor, Marc provides valuable insight throughout the design and renovation process. His understanding of construction methods, project coordination, and site conditions helps clients avoid costly surprises and ensures designs are not only beautiful, but also practical and buildable. On larger renovation projects, Marc works closely with homeowners, contractors, and tradespeople to bring each client's vision to life.
Fun Fact: When he's not in the showroom or on a job site, Marc enjoys hitting the slopes, exploring back roads in New Hampshire, and indulging his passion for cars and off-roading.
Lead Designer
Linda Janhunen
Having spent her entire career in architectural and interior design, Linda brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every project. Before joining Benchmark in 2020, she worked with several premier design showrooms throughout the Northeast, contributing to projects from Maine's coastal communities to the South Shore of Massachusetts.
Linda is especially skilled at navigating the unique challenges that often come with New England homes. Whether working within historic footprints, unconventional layouts, or compact coastal spaces, she creates thoughtful designs that enhance everyday functionality while preserving the character and charm that make these homes so special. Her approach blends timeless design principles with modern convenience, resulting in spaces that are both beautiful and functional.
Fun Fact: When she's not designing dream spaces, Linda can often be found on the polo field. An avid equestrian, she enjoys both competitive and recreational polo—on horseback, of course!
Showroom Administrator
Maggie Graham
Maggie is the newest addition to the Benchmark Kitchen & Bath team and helps keep the showroom experience running smoothly from the first conversation to the final details. With a background in operations she brings a thoughtful and organized approach to every project.
Maggie’s passion for interior design, architecture, and historic New England homes makes her a natural fit for the Benchmark team. She enjoys helping clients feel comfortable throughout the design process—whether assisting with showroom selections, coordinating project details, or making sure each visit is welcoming and enjoyable. With an eye for detail and a love of beautiful, functional spaces, Maggie helps create a seamless experience for homeowners as they bring their renovation ideas to life. She believes the design process should feel inspiring, collaborative, and (most importantly) fun!
Fun Fact: When she’s not at the showroom, Maggie teaches fitness classes and explores New England’s charming towns on a never-ending quest for the best coastal bakery.
